Matter Level is a storytelling studio built by artist and creative director Scotty Gunderson. Together with a community of collaborators, we use design, writing, art-making, and play to explore how we experience our mesmerizing and messy world. It is everything at once: gorgeous, violent, intimate, loud. Still, we search for meaning and connection.

Matter Level works with clients across commerce, culture, art, and social impact. We also create our own original projects and artifacts, which you’ll find here in the shop.
